You will provide compliance advice and counseling relevant to JSSI's comprehensive business aviation products and services and help to promote an enterprise-wide culture of compliance. You will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices.
• Provide guidance and counseling to colleagues across JSSI on compliance matters, including intellectual property, data governance, foreign corrupt practices act, parts traceability, employment matters, antitrust, export controls, and privacy issues.
• Provide support in mitigating third-party partner risk, including those related to clients, vendors, and affiliates.
• Maintain documentation of JSSI compliance policies and procedures to address key compliance risks. Ensure documentation is readily available to JSSI employees.
• Provide and coordinate training to colleagues on compliance matters.
• Monitor, interpret, and advise on changes to relevant laws and regulations impacting JSSI's industry. Update compliance program in response to a changing legal environment.
• Assist with internal investigations and litigation relating to compliance matters.
• Assist with due diligence and integration processes related to merger and acquisition activities.Desired Credentials:
  • Law Degree from an accredited institution and active bar membership.
  • At least seven years of relevant legal experience in-house or at an established law firm.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong executive functioning, including the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in compliance risk assessments and monitoring.
