America for over a decade, have GWs of Assets in Operation, GWs of projects under Construction, and GWs of projects in their Development Pipeline - Onshore/Offshore Wind, Solar, Solar+, Hydrogen, Pump Storage, Transmission, Long Duration Storage, etc.Job DescriptionThe Energy Storage - Head of Project Development (WECC) - Chicago will:
- Lead and manage interdisciplinary teams including land negotiations, real estate, engineering, permitting, legal, and interconnection through construction commencement - through third-party Development shops & Development Service agreements.
- Lead project strategy throughout the entire development process to achieve project & corporate goals.
- Develop and manage project development schedules and budgets.
- Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage contract obligations in key project documents.
- Facilitate project discretionary permitting including permit strategy, tracking permit efforts, working with local AHJs, and presenting at permit hearings as needed.
