Strong experience with Mainframe Storage

Experience configuring mainframe storage at the hardware level and configure the replication of between the source and the target array.
Must be able to configure mainframe tape replication
10+ years of Mainframe experience specific to data migrations
IT related degree
Programming experience with one of the following:
COBOL
Java
C#



Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for mainframe database migration and modernization process.
Design and implement database structures and mainframe unload and load programs for cloud databases, including tables, indexes, constraints, and relationships.
Learn and apply the technical architecture of mainframe modernization tools (Universal Data Converter) using ability in various source and target databases.
Convert mainframe databases and data models to modern database architectures.
Collaborate with application architects and other database architects to customize and change data models, databases, and code, focusing on database migration.
Build conceptual, logical, and physical data models for databases modernization.
Document data requirements and relationships (data modeling) and create efficient database structures (database design). More...
