VP of Clinical Development and Support (Hybrid)JOB SUMMARYThe VP of Clinical Operations is a key member of the Clinical Team. The VP of Clinical Operations leads and mentors the Clinical Team. The VP of Clinical Operations' work will advance best clinical outcomes, enhance the doctor and patient experience, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. - Provide leadership and guidance to clinicians with the goal of leading EDP practices toward clinical excellence in partnership with and as an extension of the Chief Dental Officer.
- Promote and facilitate growth and success of current and new doctors by identifying needs and implementing individualized support plans in partnership with the Chief Dental Officer.
- Foster a patient-centered approach focused on best patient experience and outcomes, emphasizing patient access, comprehensive and preventative care, patient education, and personalized treatment plans.
- Engage and interface with doctors in their practices to provide on-site mentorship, support, and training.
- Actively participate in meetings and discussions to provide updates on clinical operations, mentorship activities, and doctor development.
- Work closely with the Chief Dental Officer to address clinical needs, performance issues, and team development opportunities.
- Provide hands-on teaching, mentoring, and coaching to Regional Dental Directors (RDDs) and the Clinical Team at the Support Center to strengthen clinical leadership and foster professional growth.
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of doctor onboarding processes, comprehensive training programs, and continuing education (CE) tracks to support professional development and clinical excellence.
- Conduct clinical evaluations and screenings for potential provider candidates as needed to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with RDDs to address and resolve clinical quality concerns, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of care.
- Evaluate and identify opportunities for strategic organizational growth, including planning and executing the integration, onboarding, and deployment of specialists to enhance service offerings.
- Maintain familiarity with the latest advancements in dental technology, research, and treatments, and incorporate them into the organization as appropriate.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of dental services provided, ensuring adherence with industry standards, best practices and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate in the development and refinement of clinical best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and excellence in patient care.
- Develop and implement quality improvement and risk management initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, satisfaction, and overall experience in partnership with the legal and compliance teams.
- Conduct regular audits, reviews, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions when necessary as directed by and in partnership with the legal and compliance teams.
- Represent Elite and serve as spokesperson for Elite in online and in community settings.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current valid license in good standing to practice dentistry and willingness to obtain licenses in additional states.QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven success and experience as a dentist, preferably in a leadership or managerial role.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
