So, if you get excited about making a real difference as part of a winning team like we do, we want to hear from you.The Headlines:In the role of Corporate Communications Team Lead, working in Chicago, Illinois, you will be part of the Communications & Corporate Affairs Team. You will create, oversee and implement Molson Coors' corporate narrative, inclusive of reputation management, media relations, crisis and issues strategy, executive thought leadership and owned channels (blog, website, corporate social).Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Reputation, this role requires a strong foundational understanding of communications management, as well as Molson Coors' long-range objectives and its key external stakeholder audiences, including investors, news media, hometown communities, influential industry voices, government officials, regulatory bodies and trade organizations.You will manage a team of communications managers and a senior specialist, all of whom represent Molson Coors when interfacing with the aforementioned stakeholder audiences.The Responsibilities: - Lead a team of three talented colleagues (2 Communications Managers and 1 Sr Communications Specialist) and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one-on-one conversations.
- Manage Molson Coors' corporate communications team and drive work that raises the profile of Molson Coors' business, its brands and its employer profile across the US and Canada. Counsel senior leaders within the business and spearhead the development and implementation of communications plans that support the company's business objectives across national media, influential voices and hometown communities. Guide and train senior executives on context-specific messaging for media interviews, public speaking opportunities and thought leadership.
- Lead best practices and rapid-response strategies for Molson Coors' crisis and issues management needs.
- Oversee owned-channel strategy for Molson Coors blog, website and social media channels, including proactive editorial content, community management, reactive communications, and analytics/measurement.
- Partner with other areas of the communications team (consumer and employee engagement communications) to ensure all major announcements reflect a coordinated, cross-audience approach. Partner frequently with other functions (supply chain, government affairs/legal, sales, finance) to accomplish cross-functional communications objectives.
- Manage external agencies to develop strategies, assets and tactical communications plans.The Other Qualifications:

- You have a bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or public relations OR equivalent experience (4+ years) in these respective fields.
- You have 10+ years of experience in the field of communications, journalism or politics.
- You have superior organization, communication, project and budget management skills.
- You have a strong track record of crisis and issue management, including pacesetting and overseeing rapid-response strategies.
- You have experience driving crisis and issues strategies and demonstrated ability to effectively counsel senior business leaders.
- You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
- You lead by example, building bridges and relationships and collaborating across the business to get to the desired outcome, including with media, consumer packaged goods and beverage industry beats.
