Job SummaryThis person will perform standard engineering work requiring application of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. Provide solutions to technical problems associated with new or launched medical devices.

This position is located at our Lake Zurich, IL corporate headquarters and the student must be available to work 3 terms (semesters/quarters/summers), as a co-op while still in school. The first Co-Op cycle will start between January and June of 2025.

• Make detailed observations, analyze data and interpret results.
• Write test cases, experimental reports, summaries and protocols.
• Perform troubleshooting based on test results.
• Recommend improvements to system algorithms.
  • Minimum two years of undergraduate classwork in an engineering field (biomedical or mechanical preferred).
  • Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Strong technical, mathematical and laboratory skills, including trainability in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and handling of bio hazardous materials.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including trainability in Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and requirements definition.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and statistics preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to think and work independently.
