- Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for Computer System Analyst III who will provide key support for Department of Defense (DoD), Department of State (DoS) and other US Federal Government Systems.Job Description:
- Responsible for designing, developing, testing and evaluation, network protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows based operating systems.
- Responsible for reviewing and interpreting Request for Proposal (RFP) / Performance Work Statement (PWS) documentation to support the development of cost estimates to include system design, Bill of Material (BOM) and project execution.
- Provide recommended improvements to existing computer systems and designs using industry best practices.
- Train technicians and end users.
- Will work towards the relevant certifications within one and a half years after assuming duties:
- Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR.Qualifications:
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have at least 5 years of computerized system experience, to include: design, development, testing and evaluation, network protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows based operating systems.
- Must have the ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment, be detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently or under limited supervision.Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering or computer science, or a graduate of military basic and advanced electronic or communication technician school (associate's degree or military technical school with additional years of experience can be substituted for bachelor's degree).
- Manufacturer's certification or technical training is highly desirable (Lenel, Milestone, Security+, CISSP).
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and practices such as grounding and electrical safety.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other Computer Aided Design applications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products and Adobe Acrobat.
- OSHA 10- or 30-hour Safety Certification.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Be familiar with and have a working knowledge of a multitude of systems including but not limited to:
- DoD and DoS Security Systems and requirements (NAVWAR/NIWC).
- Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems such as Lenel, Vindicator, AMAG, DMP and DAQ.
- IP CCTV Surveillance Systems such as Genetec, Avigilon and Milestone.
- Perimeter Protection Systems such as Southwest Microwave, Fiber SenSys and Protech.
- Mass Notification Systems such as Federal Signal SelecTone and SiRcom.
- Mechanical and electromechanical locking systems (electronic strikes, locks, mag's, etc.).
- Experience with TCP/IP Network Systems and Topology, to include wireless access points and routers.
- Experience with Network Attached Storage.
- Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
- Current Passport.Security Requirements:
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD "Secret" security clearance with the possibility to upgrade to "Top Secret" if required.
- Must be a US Citizen with a valid Driver's License.Travel Requirements:
- Between 5% - 10% travel, international and domestic, depending on program requirements.
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.Physical Requirements:
