This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained while also complying with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all FSQA activities, including the implementation and management of HACCP, FSMA, PCQI, and audits. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the food manufacturing industry.Responsibilities: - Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the FSQA system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Oversee the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) plan, ensuring its relevance and effectiveness in managing food safety risks.
- Implement and manage FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) and PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) requirements, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of the FSQA system and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers, ensuring that all FSQA activities are transparent and well understood.
- Train and mentor team members on FSQA procedures and standards, fostering a culture of food safety and quality within the organization.
- Conduct root cause analysis for any food safety or quality issues and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in food safety and quality assurance, implementing new strategies and technologies as appropriate.Qualifications:
