  • Promote from within cultureThe SVP, Managed Assets manages a portfolio of problem commercial loans comprised of C&I credits. In this role, you will develop and execute action plans to drive least loss/highest recovery results, contributing to the bank's bottom line.What You'll Do
    • Manage assigned portfolio of distressed loans
    • Conduct in-depth analysis into lending relationships in order to formulate and propose an appropriate course of action
    • Meet with borrowers to negotiate terms for restructure or settlement; perform site visits to inspect collateral
    • Interact with Wintrust Charter Banks and niche groups as problem loans are identified and assigned for active management in MAD
    • Enforce bank's legal rights and remedies working directly with outside counsel and third-party professionals as necessary in litigation
    • Collect past due accounts, restructure workable credits, and liquidate collateral as warrantedQualifications
      • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related major
      • 10+ years' commercial loan workout experience with C&I or CRE loans
      • Knowledge of commercial fundamentals across all asset types
      • Demonstrated proficiency in portfolio management and monitoring, negotiating, and litigation management
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
