Adecco is hiring for Conveyer Mechanics! This position is 75% travel!Essentia Duties and Responsibilities(This list is not all inclusive and is subject to change; other duties may be assigned.)Assembles product using mechanical blueprints, operator instruction worksheets, and/or verbal orderIdentifies, inventories and obtains material for operations to be performedFastens parts together with screws, clamps, nuts, industrial glue, or other components with or without toolsEmployee will learn to bend and installs conduit/pipe for conveyor installationRemoves materials with or without toolsPossesses personal hand tools and toolbox according to the employee handbookPerforms safety and housekeeping dutiesParticipates in required training and applies safety skills/knowledgeUtilizes measuring, gauging and other quality tools as requiredAccurately completes required documentationPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Installation Manager or Installation CoordinatorEssential Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrates familiarity with material handling systems design (or equivalent) preferred but not requiredDemonstrates proficiency in reading tape measures and other measuring devicesDemonstrates proficiency in basic mathematics (fractions, decimals, conversions, etc.)Possesses and applies skill and ability to use hand electric/pneumatic toolsAbility to read mechanical blueprints a plusPossesses and applies knowledge of basic mechanical skills in various operationsKnowledge of basic electrical concepts/simple wiring a plusKnowledge of basic plumbing/flexible air lines/bending conduit a plusDemonstrates willingness to work long hours and travelDemonstrates ability to work well with othersDemonstrates willingness to learn with on-the-job training providedPossesses valid driver's license (not required but a plus)Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis position requires extensive travel throughout the United States.This position will require the following: walking, sitting, kneeling, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects/tools/controls, using vibratory tools, reaching with hands and arms, balancing, stooping, talking and hearing.Due to contact with customers, this person must maintain professional appearance and good hygiene.Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per weekBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
