  • Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Tele/M/S, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience
  • Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
  • Patient Population: High acuity - Tele/M/S, Cardiac heavy (Afib with RVR, Afib, flutter, blocks), heart cath without interventions, CHF, COPD, sepsis, BH/CIWA, post ablations, dialysis
  • Skillset needed: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation, Initiate/titrate drips, PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), antidysrhythmic (cardizem, tikosyn dosing, amio), nephrostomy tubes
  • Unit Information: 32 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:5-7; CN rarely takes patients on days, but takes an assignment on NOC shift
  • Unit Strengths: Excellent retention and experience on unit. Manager has been with the unit for 15+ years and has built a strong team

    Job Requirements
    • Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical / Telemetry
    • Compact license required
    • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications
    • Two years of strong Tele/M/S experience
    • At least one travel assignment completed
    • Trauma level II experience
    • Recent EPIC charting experience
    • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
    • Must be a hard worker, resilient and manage change well, social candidates
      Schedule Information
      • Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7
      • Start Date: 11/18 or 12/2 - Bi-weekly orientation
      • Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six-week schedule. Every other holiday.

        • Seeking contracts due to upcoming FMLA for multiple staff
