Job Details - Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
- Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline.
- Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS
- Pending License accepted: No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB
- RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays.
- Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek.
- 3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek.
- 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
- Special Requirements: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, accessing ports, starting IVs.
- PREFERRED EXP: neuro and oncology experience; Central Line Care/Management; monitoring chemotherapy
- Unit Information: Medical PCU Oncology and Stroke Unit; Mixed Acuity Unit - Medical patients with some PCU level of care patients.
Job Requirements - Years of experience REQ: 18 months
