  Job Details
  • Night shift 1900-0730
  • Every other weekend requirement
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
    Job Requirements
    • Must be AHA certified in BLS
    • Must be AHA certified in PALS
    • Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
    • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment
    • Must be AHA certified in ACLS
    • Must have NRP certification
    • Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required to be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter
    • Completed Ascension Color Vision prior to start and updated every 3 years
    • HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics completed within a year of start updated yearly
    • Up to date TNCC certification renewed every 4 years
    • NIH Certification updated yearly
    • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training completed every 2 years
    • Ascension EKG Exam completed prior to start
    • Ascension Unit Specific Checklist uploaded by unit leader within a week
    • Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation uploaded by agency after completion
    • Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding completed onsite
    • Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or Positive IGG Titer
    • Fit Test completed prior to start
    • Documentation of vaccination series completion or declination to vaccine signed and dated
    • Flu season vaccination completed or mask requirement
    • Health Statement completed prior to first assignment and updated annually
    • Driver's License/State ID must match address on file
    • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA completed prior to start
    • Documented proof of two Varicella vaccines or immunity
    • Tdap vaccination must not be expired
    • Ascension Profile uploaded by agency
    • Ascension 2 Professional References completed prior to first assignment
    • Ascension Criminal Background Check Results completed within 30 days of first assignment
    • Ascension EPLS completed within 90 days of start
    • Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
    • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days prior to start
    • Ascension Badge Photo uploaded prior to start
    • Ascension Education Verification completed within 90 days of start
    • Ascension Confirmation of Assignment provided upon initial assignment and updated upon each extension
    • Ascension Influenza Vaccine Exemption/Declination completed if applicable
    • Ascension Exit Survey completed within 72 hours of assignment completion
