Due to a strong pipeline, they are immediately seeking the appointment of an experienced and driven construction project engineer to help lead multiple projects across the Indianapolis area with the project manager.Description

• Contacting subcontractors and vendors during bid process
• Project scope of work development
• Project planning and implementation of activities
• Document management and logging including safety documentation, submittals, drawing logs, RFIs, transmittals, close out documents, meeting minutes
• Subcontractor and superintendent coordination
• Travel to job sites as required by PM and/or superintendentsProfileTo secure this position, you will be a driven and motivated construction professional with previous experience working on commercial, industrial or multifamily projects. The successful Project Engineer:
  • 1-2 years of experience working in the commercial construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, civil engineering or a related field
  • Manage administrative construction duties, including document control
  • Prepare submittal schedules for approval and distribution
  • Assist the Project Manager with change orders, subcontractor scheduling and invoicing, reviewing monthly job costs
  • Assist the Superintendent with RFI reports, QA/QC documentation, and construction field operations
  • Assist with preconstruction tasks, including estimating and quantification
  • Collect and log closeout documents and punch listsJob OfferOn offer for a Project Engineer:
    • Competitive base salary between $65,000 and $85,000, depending on level of experience
