Job Details - Position / Specialty: Echo Tech
- Needs Peds experience to take call. Needs to be able to Dobutamine Stress Echos to cover Granger Hospital
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: 5x8 (0800-1630)
- Weekend REQ: On call weekends: Friday 1500-0600, Saturday work 0700-1200. Then on call until 0600 Monday morning
- Is on-call REQ? Every 5th weekend and 1 day during the week
- Floating REQ If staffing is needed- may float to Granger Hospital
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours
- Average Daily Census: Varies between 7-9 a day depending on schedule
- Years of experience REQ: 2 years
- First-timers accepted: Yes
- Locals accepted: No- all travelers must live at least 50 miles away from the facility
- RTO Restrictions: Considered per contract
- Additional Information: Busy Echo lab with excellent physician support. The Cardiologists do their own reporting freeing up the sonographers to spend more time with the patients.
- Specific Requirements: Must be proficient at Adult Echo, Peds Echo, Transesophageal echo, and stress echo. Peds echo includes premature infants - 18 years of age.
