About the role CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is actively hiring for Engineering positions. CBRE Global Workplace Solutions provides facilities engineering, maintenance, and other facilities services in support of an Administrative and Lab campus. The position will provide engineering support for electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. This position will collaborate with maintenance technicians, environmental, energy management and scientific personnel. What you'll do - The Facility Engineer may be the owner of various shared systems throughout the building including Chilled Water, Steam, Potable Water, Hot Water, Electrical, HVAC, Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer and General Infrastructure.
- The Facility Engineer proactively manages the existing asset base, completes small projects for the customer, and represents the customer on large projects. The Facility Engineer analyzes and implements proactive maintenance programs along with researching and implementing new technology for replacement of equipment and operations assets.
- The Facility Engineer is responsible for drawing updates and change control documentation for systems under their responsibility.
- Other responsibilities include supporting the identification and accomplishment of departmental goals and supporting the development and implementation of quality system processes.
- The Facility Engineer communicates effectively and professionally in both written and verbal communications with internal customers, vendors, and contractors. The Facility Engineer interacts with all levels of management, crafts, and scientific personnel.
