- Serve residents meals, take orders, and assist residents throughout all aspects of the dining experience.
- Provide customer service to residents to allow high level of resident satisfaction while serving meals.
- Set tables for upcoming meals and reset for the following meal.
- Inform residents what foods are available on the day's menu.
- Address residents by name and their food beverage likes and dislikes.
- Prepare beverages before meals and serve beverage of choice to each resident.
- Keep water glasses and coffee cups and/or carafes filled.
- Clear tables, as needed, throughout meal and bus tables after the meal is finished.
- Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, community operations and personnel.
- Report any on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
- Other duties as assigned Education, Experience and Other Requirements
- Must be age 16 or older
- Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
- Follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
- Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn.
- Working 3-3.75 hours per shift standing, walking, and moving about without the need to sit down Preferred Qualifications
