BAE Systems is looking for an experienced EMI Engineer with a passion for engineering and the desire to be part of an innovative, dedicated team responsible for designing, developing, and testing of industry-leading navigation products.In our Navigation & Sensor Solutions Hardware Engineering department located at a newly constructed facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, you will become part of an Engineering Team testing Modernized M-Code GPS Receivers for defense programs. The team is responsible for overseeing internal lab activities, coordinating new and existing EMI/EMC design efforts, mentoring Design Teams in EMI/EMC best practices and provides coordination for off-site qualification testing efforts. This engineering team works closely with all the Hardware Engineering teams at NSS and the external test labs.Our team is looking for a new member interested in solving complex problems and creatively designing advanced and alternative navigation systems. This individual will execute onsite EMI testing and provide EMI design direction for GPS products. The successful electrical engineering candidate will have experience with EMI testing, understanding of EMI/EMC best practices and be capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
