The person in this role will focus on new business partnerships and growing Lunchtime Solutions's customer base. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone who loves to tackle a challenge, has a desire to grow with an organization and is passionate about fueling the minds of the future with healthy and nutritious meals daily. This position involves: - SALES Identifying new business opportunities, qualifying the sale, and closure of the new business opportunity. Conduct market research and analyze new opportunities.
- RELATIONSHIP BUILDING Develop and manage a pipeline of potential new business. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Attend and exhibit at conferences to build relationships.
- COLLABORATION The ability to work with many different groups of individuals, internally and externally. Effective collaboration includes the creation of contracts and working with contract experts to understand and focus on details.
- COMMUNICATION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT Communication is key for stakeholders to know about contractual expectations, obligations, performance metrics, and any compliance issues.
- NEGOTIATION Negotiating is necessary with both internal and external parties to make changes that are reasonable or pursue alternatives.
- ATTENTION TO DETAIL & STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF AGREEMENTS The person in this role must have a solid understanding of our organization's policies, standard clauses, and critical terms. Keeping on top of the averages, norms, peculiarities, and outliers, is key for managing risk and improving consistencies.
To be successful in this position you will need: - Bachelor's degree preferred
- Extensive experience in K-12 business development and not-for-profit school food service preferred
- Excel in a deadline-driven environment
- Must understand state/government contracting that is funded with state and federal funds
