This is a permanent full-time position, perfect for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about people. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, with a particular focus on onboarding and fluency in Spanish.Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.2. Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, interviews, and hiring decisions.3. Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive transition into the company.4. Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues they may have.5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor law and HR best practices, ensuring the company's compliance.6. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.7. Conduct performance and wage reviews, providing recommendations for promotions and terminations.8. Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee performance and satisfaction.9. Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.10. Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.2. 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in the construction industry.3. Proficient in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.4. Strong knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.)5. Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems.6. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.8. Thorough understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.9. Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.10. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strategic and analytical mindset.11. Ability to handle data with confidentiality.12.
