  Job Details
  • Winneshiek Medical Center (dbaWinnMed) is seeking a full-time contract for a Surgical Technologist in the Surgery Department for 13 weeks minimum.
  • Surgical Technologists are responsible for providing technical assistance during surgical procedures.
  • Have knowledge of and utilize appropriate protocols relating to scrubbing and assisting in surgery of patients of all ages.
  • The successful candidate must be highly motivated, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be a team player.
  • Surgery Includes: General, Orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, Podiatry, Urology, Dental.
    Job Requirements
    • State of Iowa Mandatory reporter training.
    • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
    • Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.
    • Must stay within 30 minutes of WinnMed when on-call.
    • American Heart Association BLS required.
      Schedule Information
      • Position is primarily 8 hour shifts Monday - Friday, 7:00a - 3:30 pm.
      • Hours may fluctuate slightly based on surgery case load (as early as 6:00am).
      • Position includes on-call rotation, approximately 1 night per every 2 week pay period, and every 5th to 6th weekend.
