We are currently searching for a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team of managers dedicated to building an engaging and positive culture at Rose Haven Nursing Home. We are a locally owned and managed organization that puts our residents and staff first!The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care (LTC), preferably to include leadership experience.The qualified candidate will have: - Current IA Registered Nurse (RN) license and in good standing with the Iowa Board of Nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations in long-term care
- Experience with the applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare, and MedicaidResponsibilities:
- Defines and maintains the standards of nursing practice within the facility
- Ensuring continued adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations
- Management and oversight of all nursing staff
- Providing planning, organization, education, supervision, and evaluation of all services provided in the facility
- Verifying that department staff is properly trained to perform required duties
- Ensuring that operation of the Nursing Department remains consistently within budgetWhat we will provide you:
