Role Description:Internship Summary:A Human Resources intern is desired to support the HRBP for Charles City GMS HR transactional and administrative duties.The intern will assist in the following areas:Recruiting:

• Ensure Job Descriptions and Job Postings match.
• Ensure all education and physical requirements are list on our Job Descriptions.Data Analysis:
  • Run weekly or monthly reports on headcount, overtime, or any other necessary information for the business.Branding:
    • Attend Career and County Fair to increase brand recognition in the area.
    • Evaluate potential branding opportunities identified during a branding brainstorming meeting.Opportunity for other exposure to the business is available. In turn, this will allow the HRBP to focus on value added, strategic HR work to support the business.Internship Qualifications:
      • A minimum of 1 year completed in a Business program, preferably HR, and a 3.0 GPA or higher.
      • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask.
      • Ability to work within Microsoft Office applications.
      • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
      • Successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
