Are you a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Technician looking to make a difference in the lives of shelter animals? AHeinz57 Pet Rescue & Transpor is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team! Job Expectations: Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures Prep animals and assist with surgical procedures Perform preventive care and assist with dental prophylaxis Provide fear-free certified care to our furry patients Assist with ultrasound, x-rays, and other diagnostic procedures Conduct discharge planning and provide critical care when necessary Administer medications and perform venipuncture Experience with anesthesia, surgery, and wellness exams Assist with scheduling exams and surgical procedures Assist with intake of new animals Company Information: AHeinz57 Pet Rescue & Transport is an animal welfare organization providiing animal care services to most of the communities in Dallas County, Iowa. We perform spay/neuter surgeries 4 days per week and also hold spay/neuter clinics for the communities we serve.
