  Job Details
  • Med Surg/Tele nursing position at Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley, Iowa.
  • Average census of 3-6 patients, with potential for up to 10 due to COVID.
  • Team nursing model with a floor nurse and charge nurse working together.
    Job Requirements
    • BLS certification required.
    • ACLS certification required.
    • PALS certification required.
    • Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips.
      Schedule Information
      • Shift hours: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
      • Every 3rd weekend requirement (Friday/Saturday/Sunday).
      • Holidays rotate with permanent staff based on weekend rotation schedule.
        Unit Specific Information
        • Must be able to float to the ER as needed.
        • Charge nurse and ER RN available as resources during the day.
          Additional Details
          • Up to 12 beds in the unit.
          • Ratios of 1:4-5 for patient care.
          • No in-house respiratory therapy, but access to RT support via eCare.
