A company is looking for a Commercial Lines Renewal Underwriter.



Key Responsibilities:

Underwrite / Broker business for insurance companies and partners under general direction of partner and internal guidelines
Oversee the evaluation, classification, and rating of risk to determine acceptability, coverage, and pricing
Implement underwriting policies under the direction of the Management and ensure compliance with these policies


Required Qualifications:

Must have at least 5 years of underwriting experience (excess & surplus lines required) with an MGA/Wholesaler
Strong sales and marketing skills a must, business acumen, interest in continued education, and professional development
Strong computer skills and ability to work with multi-faceted systems
Demonstrate strong knowledge of UW Concepts, practices, and procedures
Insurance license, CPCU, CIC or comparable designations preferred More...
