As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room, you will be joining a team of perioperative professionals who are dedicated to deliver excellent care to our patients. You will deliver care to patients that is crafted specifically to individual patient needs, and administered by some of the most highly skilled and trained providers in the region. - -Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for the department-specific patient population in accordance with the standards of nursing care and practice as defined by Wesley Medical Center and the Kansas Nurse Practice Act. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.*This is a full time nights RN/Charge position. The ideal candidate would have familiarity with running the OR board, calling in on call employees after hours, assist with running rooms, and resetting OR's, and managing incoming Trauma's. Additional shift diffs are added to this position. What you will do in this role: - - You will oversee and direct the care of the surgical patient in all surgical specialties. -
