<span><span style="color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;">Modis, one of America&#39;s top IT staffing firms, has a contract role for a Desktop Build Technician who will be tasked primarily doing tech refresh work. 6 month contract with possibility of extension. Job is based in Louisville, KY with driving required to various locations within KY.<br>&nbsp;<br>Assignment Description: &nbsp;&nbsp;PC Tech Refresh &ndash; the scope of this project is to replace client PCs that are 3 or 4 years old. &nbsp;Technician will be required to perform needs assessment (hardware &amp; software) and builds for client PCs. &nbsp;In addition the Technician may be needed to help provide Level 3 support for sites in the Louisville area. <br>&nbsp;<br>Skill Set Requirements and Capabilities: &nbsp;&nbsp;Working knowledge of Windows 7, Ethernet topology, TCP/IP protocol, and Microsoft products. &nbsp;Must have excellent customer service skills, ability to follow standards and procedures, follow through with pending details, and pay attention to detail. <br>&nbsp;<br>Special Requirements: &nbsp;&nbsp;Must have reliable transportation. &nbsp;This position will require the individual to complete installs at various work sites within the Louisville area. &nbsp;Mileage will be reimbursed at IRS approved rate.<br>&nbsp;<br>Level of Experience: &nbsp;Minimum of 1 year as a Desktop Technician and experience doing tech refreshes. <br>&nbsp;<br>Successful candidates will be proven self starters and be able to take direction and work well within a team environment.<br>&nbsp;<br>Required Certification: &nbsp;A+ certification desired<br>&nbsp;<br></span><br></span> More...
