<span>&nbsp;<B>Description of Duties: </B>Responsible for installation, maintenance, connectivity and monitoring of JBoss/WebSphere and Apache application servers. The senior administrator will work with network and software engineering teams to support a wide range of technical tasks. The administrator should have knowledge of deploying Java applications, setting up supporting platform communications (JNDI, JMS, SOAP/RESTful communications), database system connection pooling, monitoring, clustering and other platform support initiatives. <br> &nbsp;<br><B>Minimum Qualifications: </B><br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Completed Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Systems Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience working with Java application server technology. <br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Knows how to connect Apache/ISS to Java application servers.<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Understands clustering/load balancing and how to configure it for distributed web applications.<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to work with Windows and Linux operating systems.<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to administer supporting JEE/Spring/Web Framework services &nbsp;<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong written and verbal communications <br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Currently holds, or has the ability to obtain, a DOD Secret Clearance <br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;US citizen (Interim secret required to begin work) <br>&nbsp;<br><B>Preferred Qualifications:</B><br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Knows how to configure JBoss in domain mode with Apache and mod_cluster.<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience with best practices promoting and managing code packages<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to monitor servers and trouble shoot configuration/performance issues<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Understanding of how to troubleshoot memory issues on JEE Servers. <br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Familiar with SOA service setup and administration <br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience with load balancing and proxy techniques<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Knowledge of SSL and PKI setups<br>&bull; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Understands Software Development Lifecycle &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><span style="color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;"><br>&nbsp;<br></span><br></span> More...
