The Warehouse Manager is the custodian of all physical inventory and accountable for its accuracy at all times.Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PMCatalent is committed to a Patient First culture through excellence in quality and compliance, and to the safety of every patient, consumer and Catalent employee.The Role - Manage Warehouse Group Lead in coordinating for delivery of raw materials from supplier and shipment of finished goods to customers, ensuring all raw materials and WIP are released and issued in a timely manner to Ops for manufacturing, ensuring that raw materials, WIP and finished goods are kept in properly designated, managing site reject disposal process and recycling efforts, and maintaining operational safety, 5S, and cleanliness of warehouse at all times.--
- Ensure a high level of inventory accuracy through an approved cycle count program; ensure compliance with all OSHA and CGMP requirements.--
- Interact with governmental agencies and customer representatives as required during audits and on-site visits.
- Effectively communicate with Logistics personnel to guide, mentor, and coach and develop teams to achieve business goals.
- Managing all employee recognition, training, discipline, termination and hiring decisions.
- Represent the Warehouse function at designated customer meetings and on interdepartmental teams.
- Plan and execute all Warehouse operations in the most cost-effective manner; lead and execute projects related to Warehousing and Logistics operations.
- Other duties and required.The Candidate
- High School Diploma Required. Bachelors Degree in Management, Operations, Logistics, or related field (may substitute prior manufacturing or similar supply chain supervisory experience) highly preferred.
- 7+ years warehouse supervisory or managerial experience in a high-volume manufacturing ERP environment, including shipping and receiving functions (may substitute prior experience in manufacturing or similar supply chain supervisory experience)
- Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.
- Significant knowledge of shipping, receiving and warehousing in an ERP environment; significant knowledge of the transportation industry - TL, LTL, & Parcel experience
- Must have a thorough knowledge of cGMP, FDA and DEA guidelines and how they are applied in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and logistics functions
- Excellent analytical skills, including use of tools and methodologies to forecast opportunities to drive productivity, cost reduction and overall inventory management
- Individual may be required sit for extended periods. Specific vision requirements include reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen frequently.Sustained sitting at desk or workstation with use of phones, computers and any other office equipment required for specified position. File/Folder storage with non-repetitive light weight lifting, reaching and forward bending as necessary. Infrequent lifting overhead reaching less than or equal to 15 lbs. with the ability to potentially be able to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull 40 lbs.--Low to Mid level lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Maneuvering of drums varying in weight with push, pull and scooting for placement to and from 6 inch pallets (up to 80 lbs. of force).Why You Should Join Catalent
