This job works administers anesthesia to patients during the performance of surgical, obstetrical and other pain producing clinical procedures under the supervision of a physician. Works in a collaborative model including but not limited to residents, fellows, attendings, and staff who care for patients. Contents are subject to change at the company's discretion. Education Required - Master's degree from a school of nurse anesthesia accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA). Work Experience Required - None. Certifications Required - License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of practice. Certification through the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA). Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification from the American Heart Association. Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) - Computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
- Proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability). Job Duties
