Description:When something breaks, do you love to get in there & figure out a fix? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hotel Repair & Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Hotel Repair & Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our hotel facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests.
This role will potentially be shared between multiple of our MCHG locations including: Hampton Inn Bath & Fairfield Inn Brunswick. Serving as our Maintenance Tech between multiple locations allows for this to be a full-time role.
Maintenance Person Responsibilities Include:Perform and maintain work to local, state, and Federal codesPerform repairs in a timely and efficient manner in a way that minimizes guest disruptionConduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential issues and address them proactivelyDiagnose and troubleshoot problems with hotel equipment and systemsRepair and replace broken or malfunctioning parts and equipmentMaintain a clean and safe work environmentMaintain indoor pool to be in compliance with health codesSnow RemovalKeep parking lot and outdoor areas free of litterCommunicate effectively with hotel management and staff

  Requirements:Maintenance Technician Requirements Include:Proven experience in hotel or building maintenanceStrong Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systemsPool Operator Certification a plusExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and Interpersonal skillsHave a friendly, courteous, service oriented demeanorComfort with physically demanding work for 8 hour shiftAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededAccountability and Reliability critical to success
