About the Internal Medicine Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity

• Four day work week- Tuesday-Friday hours 7-5
• Clinic is attached to the Hospital
• Easy access for patients that require labs, Radiologic studies, EKG, or Respiratory treatment
• Outpatient team is 1 Physician and 3 PA/NP team
• 10 exam rooms
• Each Provider has own office
• EMR is Meditech Expanse
• See 16 patients a day (bonus for more)
• Panel Style Medicine- know your patients
• Mostly Geriatric patient care for Diabetes, Hypertension, Thyroid Disorder, CHF, COPD
• Annual exams, follow ups, and acute visits Requirements of the Internal Medicine Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity
  • Master's Degree completed as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • National Certification
  • Maine State Medical License
  • Proven interest and experience with Internal Medicine - preceptorship, courses, electives, and work
  • Comfort seeing patients with chronic illness and managing treatment plan
  • Interest in rural medicine and living at northern part of Maine Perks of the Internal Medicine Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity
    • Salary range is $120,000-140,000 (negotiable for experience over 4 years)
