A company is looking for an Emergency Department and Urgent Care Facility & Pro-fee Coder.



Key Responsibilities

Accurately code medical records for urgent care and emergency room services
Follow current ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines and apply modifiers as appropriate
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA security policies while meeting production and quality standards


Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of coding experience in emergency department and urgent care
Extensive knowledge of CPT coding and modifier application
Strong understanding of Cerner and Epic systems
Certification such as CPC, CEDC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA
