We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for our River Ridge Center in Kennebunk, Maine location. RiverRidge Center offers specialized Post-Acute Brain Injury and Stroke Rehabilitation, including Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care and Outpatient Rehabilitation Services. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. RiverRidge Center provides comprehensive services that include Physical, Speech, Respiratory, Occupational and Recreational Therapy, 24-hour Skilled Nursing Care, Case Management, Social Services & Community Integration.   As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
  You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.
  You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

  Qualifications: 1. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
  2. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  3. They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
