OVERVIEW
Hendall is seeking a Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This individual will work closely with Product, Technical, and Design Leads, Business Analyst(s), Software Developer(s), and other QA/Testers to define, document, and test all business and technical requirements necessary to satisfy product owner's needs. They will also work with the Product and Technical Leads, and Agile development teams to help manage the scope of sprints and releases. Manage project risk to assure all deliverables are delivered with consistently high quality with minimum defects.
DUTIES

• Support Agile development QA requirements
  
• Review and analyze system specifications
  
• Develop effective strategies and test plans
  
• Software Development
  
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
  
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
  
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
  
• Help troubleshoot issues
  
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  
• Ensure compliance with all federal accessibility standards and guidelines
  
• Identify and manage project risks
  
• Provide documentation in the form of Test Management Plans, Test Cases, and Test Reports throughout the complete software development lifecycle
  
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    
    
    
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related IT field, or equivalent experience
      
    • 5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
      
    • Qualified applicants will have experience using non-manual testing tools, e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Apache JMeter, which includes the development of automated scripts and automated test execution. Must have a good understanding of common web application security vulnerabilities
      
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for discussions with the development team
      
      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
      
      
      
      • Experience with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)
        
      • Demonstrated experience in creating and executing test scripts, and communicating results to management
        
      • Good overall IT technical skills
        
      • Basic understanding of programming languages (for automated script creation/updates), especially JavaScript
        
      • Highly organized and detail-oriented
        
      • Flexible, versatile, and works well under pressure
        
      • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
