As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist with their daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals in need of medical care.Duties:- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse- Administer medications under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare provider- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times- Assist in the implementation of care plans and treatment protocols- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records- Perform basic medical procedures, such as venipuncture and sterile processing- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentialitySkills:- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality- Proficiency in medication administration and adherence to proper protocols- Familiarity with hospice care principles and practices- Ability to perform spinal taps and assist with other medical procedures as required- Strong organizational skills for managing medical records and documentation- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred- Competency in venipuncture techniques for blood collection- Ability to ventilate patients using appropriate techniques and equipment- Knowledge of sterile processing procedures for maintaining a clean environmentIf you are passionate about providing compassionate care to patients and have the necessary skills and qualifications, we invite you to apply for the position of Nursing Assistant.
