Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required; must have one prior travel assignment License: Must have a valid state license in hand or in certain cases, pending Certifications: - Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS - Preferred: TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: - Procedural Sedation Administration skills - Comfort working with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio Job Description: - Work in a Short Term Acute Care facility with 39 total staffed beds/rooms - Handle an average of 90 visits per day - Wear navy blue scrubs - Utilize Cerner for charting - Demonstrate skills in procedural sedation administration - Manage ventilated patients, triage, and undertake charge nurse responsibilities as preferred skills - Be prepared for every other weekend and every other holiday shifts - Participate in a 28-hour orientation that is partially non-billable - Complete training modules, with an average of 12 billable hours - Comply with facility requirements for flu vaccination; no exemptions allowed - Provide two supervisor references - Be open to the possibility of being hired without a formal interview.
