Responsibilities - Develops, implements and manages a functional restoration pain management program delivered in the home and community model
- Develops policies and procedures to address functional restorative pain management population in tandem with existing home and community policies and procedures as outlined by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities standards
- Participates in the admissions process including patient selection, funding sources, staffing and overall process
- Directs the provision of all clinical services to maximize program efficiency, effectiveness, quality of patient care and patient satisfaction. Ensures service delivery is in accordance with timelines and levels authorized
- Directs staff recruitment and development activities and conducts ongoing skill evaluations to ensure the quality and accuracy of their work
- Manages the clinical documentation process to ensure that the patient/client's clinical record meets company, legal and regulatory requirements, facilitates care, enhances the continuity of care, and demonstrates patient/client functional progress
- Helps develop market assessment, budget, and business/strategic plan, sales/marketing strategies and sales presentations to ensure the growth of program
- Works with the Executive Director to negotiate/establish local contracts with referral sources, third party payers, state/provincial/local governments, and ensure profitability and the effective servicing of all assigned contracts
- Monitors program expenditures and adherence to Company policies through the implementation of controls
- Oversees and participates in local quality assurance and performance improvement activities and ensures that all requirements are completed and shared with leadership within designated timelines
- Ensures the program is in substantial compliance with all applicable licensure, accreditation and certification standards and oversees program evaluation processes and completion of annual program evaluation report
- Adheres to standards of the Company's Code of Conduct, policies, Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act and Corporate Compliance programs and appropriate professional practice standards and applicable state/federal law
- Performs all duties inherent in a supervisory and managerial role
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
