<span>&nbsp;<br><B>Position: </B>Sr. Automation Quick Test Professional QTP Engineer&ndash; Woodlawn, MD Job<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Location: </B>Woodlawn, MD Baltimore, MD<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Duration:</B> 3 year contract renewable each year<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Position Description: </B><br>The selected candidate is responsible for enterprise- level software validation/testing. He/she works with minimum technical oversight and is regarded as an expert. Performs the following job duties: <br>- Performs and executes software validation/testing efforts for large-scale development projects<br>-Develops test cases for manual and automated functional testing<br>- Assists in developing and conducting stress and performance tests.<br> &nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Flexible work schedule</B><br>&nbsp;<br><B>Required skills:</B> <br>-Solid technical experience with software validation and requirements analysis efforts for large scale successful IT system implementations. <br>-The candidate should possess current, hands-on experience with Quick Test Professional QTP and WinRunner or similar products. <br>-The position requires expert knowledge in designing, implementing and maintaining software test automation frameworks/solutions, experience with automation scripting languages, experience with developing and implementing automated testing standards and guidelines, experience with test data preparation, experience with Test management tools such as Quality Center TestDirector. <br>-Experience with manual systems integration and back end testing on a wide variety of projects and environments is required. <br>-Experience with developing, documenting and implementing complex multi-program data driven functional/regression test strategies using QTP is required. <br>-Ability to develop, write and implement test plans, record and track defects and prepare test management reports is required. <br>-Working knowledge of programming languages including VB, C and/or C++ is required. <br>-Experience with relational databases and SQL for retrieving, updating, and inserting information into databases is required. <br>-Ability to navigate in a Windows workstation setting, plus good knowledge of the Microsoft office suite Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected.<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Education:</B><br>Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 11 years of professional experience; or 9 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. <br>&nbsp;<br><B>Background Check:</B> Must be able to pass a drug criminal and credit background check<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br></span> More...
