<span> <br><B>New Job -</B> Wireless Network Engineer with 3yrs IEEE 802.11 standards – Baltimore, MD <br> <br><B>Position Type</B>: Direct Hire<br> <br><B>Position:</B> Wireless Network Engineer job<br> <br><B>Work Location</B>: Baltimore, MD<br> <br> <br>We have an exciting new direct hire job open for a Wireless Network Engineer with 3yrs IEEE 802.11 standards in Baltimore, MD <br> <br>This position will be primarily responsible for the design, installation, monitoring, maintenance, optimization, and support of wireless and networking technologies of external customer network infrastructures. Position holds technical expertise related to the core components of standard wireless infrastructures, management systems, wireless best practices and optimizations. The implementation activities to be performed by the engineer include wireless design, device configuration, equipment installation, integration, implementation and migration, testing and troubleshooting.<br> <br><B>Position Description:</B><br>• Support external customer wireless network infrastructure<br>• Support day to day operational needs for customer infrastructure<br>• Support pre-sales wireless network engineering activities <br>• Leverage understanding of LAN/WAN technologies in order to support, design, and integrate complex wireless LANs<br>• Assist in the planning, designing, configurations, deployments and support of LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure<br>• Participate in the evaluation of vendor hardware, software, and wireless communications products<br>• Operational support and troubleshooting of production wireless network issues<br>• Facilitate technical support case escalation for customer wireless infrastructure<br>• Documentation of advanced enterprise wireless solutions and designs<br>• Wireless design and validation, including RF site surveys of complex indoor and outdoor deployments <br>• Support internal wireless network infrastructure operational requirements<br>• Maintain professional level certifications related to wireless network technologies and vendors<br>• Participate in technology and vendor specific training classes<br> <br><B>Education and Experience Requirements:</B><br>• B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or other directly related field<br>• M.S. in related field a plus<br>• Certified Wireless Network Administrator certification is a plus<br>• Vendor specific wireless certifications preferred<br>• Minimum of 3 years of experience in wireless network technologies related to IEEE 802.11 standards<br>• 5+ years of experience in LAN/WAN technologies, troubleshooting, and support<br> <br><B>Detailed understanding of the following:</B><br><ul>
