ResponsibilitiesBe part of our exciting team supporting a robust, world-wide communications network, providing office automation packages; document and information management tools; and collaboration, voice, and video tools in a secure, flexible, distributed architecture supporting a classified DoD IT system. Peraton is seeking a Software Applications Engineer to provide Automation and Orchestration services for Commercial Off-the-Shelf software products and enterprise system management to include integration services, software repair, and diagnostic testing for all system software and layered products.Responsibilities include: - Application engineering support including performance monitoring, software integration, software configuration, and upgrade activities for Off-the-Shelf software products.
- Deliver service automation capabilities, including provisioning, implementation, testing, backout, and configuration, compatible with current software products.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external teams to gather information from customers on their needs to design, create, or integrate software to match their desires.
- Engage with vendors to obtain support when appropriate.QualificationsRequired:
- Requires a min 8 years with BS/BA, Min 6 years with MS/MA, or Min 3 years with PhD; 4 years additional experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Experience in software engineering and integration of Commercial Off-the-Shelf software products.
- Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE).Desired:
