TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Clinton, Maryland, 20735 Pay Information $2,402 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; must have 1 prior travel assignment License: Valid State License required Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS, STABLE, NRP, BLS, must register for C-EFM during compliance phase or within the first two weeks of the assignment Must-Have: High-risk L&D experience, flu vaccine required, required to float to similar units Job Description: - Responsible for labor and delivery nursing duties with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 - Must float to like units such as Mom/Baby, with travelers floating before permanent staff - Required to provide weekend and holiday coverage every other weekend/holiday as needed - Call required: 24 hours over a 6-week period; traveler must be on premises 45 minutes after receiving call - Experience in circulating, fetal heart monitoring (FHM), preceptor or charge roles expected - Strong preference for candidates with triage experience - Required to complete orientation and modules as part of onboarding process - Must complete flu vaccine with no exemptions This position provides an opportunity to work in a teaching hospital with advanced care settings. Scrubs are provided, and Cerner is the charting system in use. Successful candidates must have two supervisor references. Please note that this position may require floating before permanent staff and does not guarantee a set schedule. The job involves returning employees who must have been away for a minimum of 1 year to rejoin as travelers.
