The Master Data Specialist, reporting to the BWI Director of Master Data is responsible for creation and management of new Item set-up, Bills of Material and other associated data objects. - Creation and modification of Bils of Materials (BOM)s
- Ensure most current version of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s related to new part set-up, BOM creations are followed and relevant to current work
- Responsible for deactivation/reactivation and discontinuation of parts in the ERP system
- Responsible for the coordination extending parts into other plants following department strategy and best practices working to improve processes related to new part-set up
- Provide hands-on support to JDE users in pursuit of Item master data accuracy and consistency
- Initiate and monitor the progress of approval work flow to ensure that all Items move through the designated approval streams to meet GMP and Non-GMP requirements. Escalate road blocks and issues as requiredThe candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related technical or business concentration is required (such as Supply Chain, Project Management, Logistics Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Accounting, Finance, Business Planning or equivalent)----
- A minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience
- Knowledge of ERP systems required, knowledge of JDE desired
- Knowledge of specific areas of JDE are also desirable: Procure to Pay, Plan to Produce and Warehouse Management
- Understanding of biological or pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
- Experience working within a regulated industryThe anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $74,080 to $100,000 plus an annual bonus target.
