Job Description X-energy is seeking a Project Controls Analyst responsible for providing project controls support to program and project leadership in one or more of the areas of planning and scheduling, cost, estimating, and change management/trends across a variety of programs/projects. This role documents and captures the project plan developed by program/project leadership, monitors and measures performance against the plan, and reports on key data metrics back to program/project leadership. Responsibilities: - Provide project controls support to project teams
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring accurate timelines and resource allocation
- Support program/project leadership in collecting progress and performance updates and updating schedules to reflect actual progress and changes
- Track and monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts for assigned program/projects
- Prepare cost reports and financial analyses
- Help identify project risks and support the development of mitigation strategies
- Maintain risk registers and ensure timely updates
- Create and distribute project status reports and performance dashboards to program/project leadership
- Support the development of project metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track progress and performance
- Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication
- Execute the core tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in management, business, project management, or related field is required
- Typically, five plus years' experience in project management or related industry experience
- Experience utilizing the industry-known best practices in at least one of the areas below:
