Powered by thousands of scientists and technicians and the latest technology platforms at more than 40 global sites, Catalent supplies billions of doses of life-enhancing and life-saving treatments for patients annually.The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources site leadership in administering policies and programs in several of the following areas: change management, employment law, employee relations, labor law, labor relations, organizational development, salary administration, performance management, training, recruitment, and various other HR-related programs/initiatives.Additionally, the Human Resources Generalist will assist with coordinating new hire orientation, data entry into the HRIS System, processing of workday transactions, reporting and administration of leadership training initiatives and will support site wide engagement initiatives.Catalent is committed to a Patient First culture through excellence in quality and compliance, and to the safety of every patient, consumer and Catalent employee.The Role - Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and programs in staffing, employee relations, compensation, benefits, development, and training, aligning with Catalent Pharma Solutions' strategic and competitive needs.
- Provides comprehensive HR services, fostering credible relationships with management and employees, supporting planning, problem-solving, and fostering open communication.
- Administers an effective performance management system to enhance employee and organizational productivity and develops training programs to build critical skills for current and future roles.
- In partnership with Catalent Global Compensation, implements equitable reward systems that meet business demands, and ensures legal compliance in employee relations.
- Oversees employee documentation in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements, supports recruitment efforts, and manages the selection and placement process.
- Responsible for the development and delivery of new hire orientation and training programs, coordinates employee leave activities, and partners with Payroll for accurate leave payouts.
- Facilitates Benefits Annual Open Enrollment, manages Workers Compensation processes, coordinates site engagement activities, and supports Site HR Leadership in various projects.
- Continuously analyses HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities, serves as a cultural change agent to improve organizational effectiveness, and ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental responsibilities.

- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent) is required.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification a plus
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in human resources required
- Experience in a supervisory or management role a plus
- Exposure to the pharmaceutical, healthcare or related technical industries is preferred
- Experience supporting a manufacturing environment (24x7 scheduling variations) is preferred
- Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.-- Pay The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $72,000 to $88,000 plus bonus, when eligible.-- The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.Why You Should Join Catalent
