Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill production - warehouse jobs in Laurel, MD this is a temporary to hire opportunity. In this assembly job you will be responsible for helping to produce ice cream. This position is open to entry level candidates. An Ice Cream Maker is responsible for the production, assembly, cleaning, and general maintenance for a variety of equipment. These functions include a variety of duties and responsibilities that are directly, or indirectly, linked to the safest production of the highest quality ice cream products possible.



The Warehouse - Production are responsible for:

• Ensure the highest quality product by performing all required procedures, quality checks and documentation to meet specifications

• Measure and monitor critical control points and make appropriate process changes to keep process running in control

• Ability to communicate with upstream and downstream operations to maintain process flow and prevent production disruptions

• Disassemble, clean/sanitize and assemble all required equipment

• Maintain line housekeeping and sanitation

• Set up, maintain, monitor, and adjust equipment as necessary to maintain product, quality, and safety specifications

• Conduct required quality checks on product. .

• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and an environment where an employee will regularly work with and around others; in a wet and/or humid environment; in areas of high noise level; and around mechanical, electrical, and pressurized equipment.

• Ability to work in -25 degree temperatures, if assigned to that perspective area



Hiring Requirement

• 18 years of age or older

• Ability to read and write legibly in English

• Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem solving skills

• Must be flexible having the ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules, considering that Dreyer?s is a 24/7, 365 day operation.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, if required

• High School diploma or GED

• One year related assembly, warehouse or food preparation experience preferred although open to entry level candidates
