Job Description X-energy, LLC is seeking professionals to join our Human Capital Team in the role of Designer III, Instructional. This role is responsible for the design and development of effective and engaging learning experiences and instructional materials across various delivery methods for employees. This role executes this by analyzing training requests, collaborating with stakeholders from across the business, designing and development the solutions, implementing the solutions, and measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of the solutions. We're looking for a talented Instructional Designer with expertise in Articulate Storyline to join our team! The ideal candidate has a strong background in instructional design, learning principles, and course development and thrives in a fast-paced environment . In this role, you'll design engaging learning experiences and create supporting materials such as job aids, infographics, user guides, and other instructional resources to enhance learner success. Experience with Camtasia, Snagit, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Canva is a plus! Job Responsibilities - Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, training guides, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Conduct needs analysis to identify learning objectives and content requirements.
- Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather, validate, and refine content.
- Apply instructional design theories and models to create effective learning experiences.
- Develop assessments to measure learning outcomes and ensure instructional effectiveness.
- Utilize multimedia principles and e-learning development tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Evaluate and revise training programs based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and adult learning.
- Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
- Provide feedback and guidance to more junior team members with the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document.
- Participate in training needs assessment meetings to identify learning objectives and content requirements.
- Manage multiple projects to ensure deliverables and/or tasks are delivered on time.
- Attend training sessions to gain knowledge and skills and apply them in their work.
- Administer and facilitate live, virtual training sessions as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
