Our sales team is trained across all of our products to give our customers insights into our entire portfolio.Job PurposeThe Director of Fab Quality will lead a team dedicated to driving continuous improvement in the quality and reliability of the products produced at MACOM's internal & external semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities.Main Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop and direct the implementation of changes to Process Control, Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures to improve product quality, reliability, yield and cost effectiveness.
- Be a practitioner in Six Sigma tools & structured problem-solving and guide institutional learning on these methods.
- Work with R&D and Fab Process Engineering teams to perform FMEA and establish quality checkpoints to drive towards zero-defects in production.
- Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Reliability (DFR) practices in a stage-gate NPI process.
- Lead failure investigation and corrective action for customer related failures and facilitate customer quality & reliability interactions.
- Review incoming Foundry material from suppliers to assure compliance to technical requirements and specifications.
- Member of Fab Change Review Board, reviewing and influencing decision making for any process changes.
- Communicate quality issues to the MACOM leadership team with recommendations for improvements.
- Act as a Lead Auditor in the Fab for IATF16949 Automotive and AS9100D Aerospace QMS certifications.Qualifications:
