About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Corporate Development to play a pivotal role in the strategic growth and success of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the business and corporate development functions, including the sourcing, evaluation, and management of value creation opportunities. This role demands a dynamic individual with a proven track record in business development, particularly in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, and a deep understanding of scientific and business acumen. The SVP will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to formulate and execute the company's corporate vision and strategy, design and implement business development strategies, and lead cross-functional teams in rigorous due diligence. Applicants must have at least 15 years' of experience, with a minimum of 10 years' in business development, and hold an advanced medical or scientific degree (MD, Ph.D., or equivalent) or an MBA/MSC. The role requires a self-starter with strong capabilities in scientific and strategic analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels. The SVP will be expected to have a successful track record in independently sourcing and onboarding high-value assets, as well as a strong network within the venture and biotech ecosystems. Responsibilities also include leading partnership discussions, overseeing the execution of business development initiatives, and providing regular updates to senior leadership.
